Chlorophonia, small bird, plump and compact with stout bill. Male and female both lime green with yellow belly and blue cap. Males have prominent yellow eyebrow. Usually seen in pairs or small flocks, often in association with a fruiting tree. Forages at all levels, most frequently the canopy. Listen for its single low-pitched whistle! This blue, green, and yellow variegated colour way is dyed on our Blue-faced Leicester nylon base. This yarn is ideal for socks, sweaters, and shawls because of its superior ability to hold its shape.
 
** Custom orders ship within 1-2 weeks, although I aim to keep this as short as possible. This yarn is hand-dyed in small batches, so no two skeins are exactly alike. Please note that colour may vary per dye lot. I try to post pictures that accurately depict the colourway, however colours may vary from device to device. All yarn is hand washed until the water runs clear, but there could be slight bleeding the first few washes.
